Four arms bars, four first round finishes, four wins!!
Rousey is non-stop!!
Rhonda “Rowdy” Rousey defeats Julia “The Jewel” Budd effortlessly by Submission (Armbar) at 0:39 of the 1st round improving her professional record to 4-0-0 at Strikeforce Challengers 20.
After receiving confirmation from coach “Judo” Gene Lebell who held out a stop watch to show Rousey that she indeed ended another fight in less than one minute, Rousey left little chance for doubt among the fans this time with her win leaving Budd’s arm dislocated. Although the dominant win could place Rousey in line for a shot at Strikeforce Women’s Featherweight Champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos, in post-fight comments, Rousey confirmed setting her sights on the 135-pound belt held by Meisha “Takedown”Tate. Rousey stated her intentions by asking Strikeforce to have a crack at Sarah Kaufman first if she was in line for Tate. She did not want to risk losing the opportunity to fight Tate, promising to put on a good show.
