Ronda Rousey wins again! Submitting Sarah Kaufman in 54 seconds on the first round with her signature arm bar. Seconds before the ultimate finish and tap by Kaufman , Rousey had Kaufman on the run defending jabs before Rousey took the crucial takedown sweeping Kaufmans left leg. Even though she defended well, Kaufman was disappointed and embarassed by her performance that allowed for the infamous armbar.

After the fight Rousey had words for Cris “Cyborg” Santos calling her out….saying ” “I need to send out a challenge to Miss Cyborg out there,” she said. “People want to see the first fair fight of your life. I’m the champ now. The champ doesn’t go to you, you go to the champ. Come down to 135 and let’s settle this.”
Some would say that Rousey is dodging Cyborg by not fighting at 145lb…. but why should she? as she stated, she is the champ at 135lb!

Cris Cyborg will come off a steroid suspension later this year for that fight to be set up, but for now, if Cyborg wants the fight, she needs to drop weight. It’s that simple! She has previously said that she cannot, and that she would have to fight Rousey at 145 or a catchweight of 140.

Rousey can fight comfortably at 145 lbs and I would bet that she will eventually compete at that weight and easily dominate. It’s just a matter of time.

On the Undercard:

Miesha Tate defeats Julie Kedzie (armbar, 3:28 min of 3rd Round)

Germaine de Randamie defeats Hiroko “Cat’s Eye” Yamanaka by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. She improves to 3-2-0.

  1. Ronda always goes for the armbar. that can be used against her. Like I said before, let her fight cyborg. she can go for that armbar and cyborg can slam her tits off. THAT would be a PPV I would pay for.

  2. Mark Miller says:

“Jesus Christ I hate rousey learn to fucking strike! I hope when she fights cyborg she gets ktfo” If she does, it will have nothing to do with women’s mma. Rousey is what a strong woman looks like.
